1. As you near your stop, remind the driver that you will be removing
your bike.
2. From the bus-stop side of the bus, lower the spring-loaded bar and lift your bike off the rack.
3. Fold up the rack if it is empty.
4. Step back onto the footpath out of the way of traffic. Wave to let the driver know you and your bike are clear of the bus. Never cross the street in front of the bus — traffic can not see you coming around the bus!
