Event Details

The National Multicultural Festival which unfolds in Civic each February is a fun, free, family friendly event that includes plenty of activities, shows, food stalls, dancing and celebrations. While there are small costs associated with buying food and drink at stalls located across the festival footprint over its three day duration, most aspects of the event are generally free and open to everyone.

Passengers please note the City Bus Station is closed for this event and ACTION buses will depart from temporary platforms in the surrounding areas. Find more information.

ACTION Route Services to National Multicultural Festival

The best way to get to the festival is by ACTION bus.
Friday: Take a Blue or Red Rapid to the city from town centres (see below map or download)
Saturday and Sunday:

  • Additional 900 & 950 services will run over the weekend. Please note that additional southbound 900 services may terminate at Woden. Passengers may need to interchange to continue to Tuggeranong.
  • Park & Ride facilities are located along these routes
  • Regular service routes for suburban connections
