Fares

Students over the age of 15 years must present their student photo ID cards to obtain a concession fare. For those students at high schools which do not issue photo ID cards, please check at your schools front office, regarding the issue of an ACTION Concession Card. To travel on a concession fare you must have either your Student photo ID or an ACTION card. Students are not eligible to use the $1.40 pensioner off-peak daily ticket.

School Term tickets are for use on school days only during the school term. On weekends and holidays, normal concession fares apply.

School Route Changes

The number of students travelling by bus each year varies according to changes in enrolment patterns and urban development. ACTION's experience is that the new school year brings additional changes. Therefore routes and services are constantly reviewed and monitored. ACTION will notify schools of any changes to school services.

School Transport Liaison Committee

This committee has representatives from both Government and Non-Government schools. For further information contact your school or the Parents & Citizens Association.

Lost Property

If you leave an item on the bus then call ACTION Lost Property on 13 17 10 or (02) 6207 7611 outside the ACT.

If you are at an Interchange, look for an ACTION Supervisor in a green and grey uniform and they will be able to help you find your lost property. ACTION staff will be of greater assistance if you are able to tell them the school service number, the time you were on the bus, and the number plate of the bus.
